India couldnt beat a strong team in the world cup?

i thought india was good and the greatest. what happened to the indians who were like MY INDIA WILL WIN. i dont see them around anymore. india beat bangladesh and ireland. minnow teams. they couldnt beat a strong team. why is that? because they suck
