Skin cancer????????!!!!!!?

I had a mole, on the right upper side of my face. It was kinda triangle shaped, almost like a heart, and it was brown. It was raised a little bit and the skin around it was raised. (the mole was a little bit smaller then the whole raised area) I would pick at it alittle bit, and ones, the color of it came off, but then it came back. It came back alittle darker. I had it laser removed a last sumer, and there is only a scar left. Could it still be cancerous if the color hasnt come back? Should I get it checked out? Im only 15, so Im really scared. I have had some swollen lymph nodes under my arms that have gone away with this cream, and I heard that swollen lyph nodes are in severe melanoma that has spreead. But if it has spread, wouldnt my white blood cell be sky rocket?(I got my blood work done recently, my white blood cell count was fine) I mean I feel TOTALLY normal, and my scar doesnt hurt(its a little bit risen) so...What do you think?
