Snowboard boot question?

I'm a 12 year old snowboarder. I got an awesome burton dom grom board today and sick burton custom brew bindings, but my parents wanted to hold off on the boots for now. I'm good, and I don't want any thing crappy. but does it matter if you get a cheap brand as long as you get comfy, durable boots?
