Is it awkward to suddenly approach a girl & talk2her if Ive sat next2her everyday & the semesters nearly over?

Keep with the small talks and after u make her laugh say "by the way my name is (your first name)". she will tell you her name. then say "We should hangout sometime." that whole thing takes about 2 seconds, u can do it during cl. If she seems interested talk to her after after cl THE FOLLOWING DAY!!! This makes it not creepy and stalkerish. If she didn't seem interested then find another hot girl.
