Why is it that there are suddenly no Republicans calling the CA Justices a "kangaroo court" anymore?

Why are Republicans celebrating a "victory" with Prop 8 being validated by the California Supreme Court when supposedly it was "bi-partisan" according to all their commercials during the campaign?
